Our graduate school was founded in 2001 for educating experts who will contribute to international issues. We now have over one third non Japanese students from overseas enrolled in our campus studying various fields of Regional Development Studies. Expertise in these fields will be required to address the needs of the every changing International Community. In April 2005 The International Tourism Department was also founded. At The Hakusan Campus evening classes are offered for part time students who want to improve their skills for advancement in their current employment and full time students who want to work in this field. Each course usually takes two years to complete and there are two semesters a year, Spring and Fall. In October you can enroll and in September you are able to finish your course. In the 21st century it is very common in the International Society to exchange information and ideas when traveling for business or by internet. We must address many issues of trade, development, and the environment. In today’s world experts are required to solve the problems caused by globalization.
International Tourism Department
Many people are interested in tourism especially International Tourism such as International relations and regional vitalization from various perspectives. In the future more human resources will be required in the International Tourism Field because this field is a very promising area of research. To achieve this goal , we offer a well suited curriculum to meet the needs of this field of researchWe want to attract students who dream of working in the tourism management field.
